Why choose the outpatient clinic of the College of Osteopathic Studies?

To benefit from a professional osteopathic care at a lower cost provided by accredited students and supervised by an experienced osteopath. The Collège d'Études Ostéopathiques, the first osteopathic school in Canada, has been offering osteopathic expertise since 1981.

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy was developed in 1874 by an American doctor, Dr. Andrew Taylor Still. It is an art and science-based on precise palpatory acts with the objective of freeing the different tissues of the body from their restrictions so that they can perform their natural functions. Osteopaths have been part of the multidisciplinary team of health professionals in the United States for over 143 years and in Europe, Australia, and Canada, since 1981. Currently, approximately one million osteopathic cares are provided to Canadians each year.
